Important
Make sure the old controller is disconnected and the new replacement controller is online before promoting.
When promoting from an LNL-2220 controller to an LNL-4420 controller, all downstream devices must be moved to Port 1 on the LNL-4420.
From the sidebar, select Devices.
Select the access controller you want to promote or select
on the access controller and choose View Details.On the access controller details screen:
Select
and choose Promote Controller.Select the controller model to promote to from the list.
Select Save to save the change.
When you confirm promoting the controller, this will initiate controller synchronization.
